June 2020 update!
I hope you're all well at this strange time! No one saw this global pandemic coming...it has seriously shaken up how we think about simply leaving the front door. At this current time weddings are not allowed, which in all my life I've never actually thought about if there was something like covid happening and how it would effect anything event related because we've never had anything like this happen (in my lifetime i mean!). Well now I've thought long and hard about everything, my main priority for me and my family is to stay safe and self isolate as much as possible. We are currently not having any meetings or consultations in person until we've been given new guild lines by the government about social distancing. Every time i go out the house i wear a mask and take hand sanitiser with me and stay 2 meters away from anyone.
It seems like forever since lock down went into force and this way of life is so different before the lock down, i'm missing family members and just going somewhere without the worry of catching a deadly virus. I don't want this post to be all negative and i do want to remind wedding couples that your wedding will happen! If you have doubts and you have to postpone (which i know its a painful and devastating process) but we've got to stay positive and just remind ourselves that in the future things will go back to a certain way of normal.
I have already had nearly 2/3 of my wedding bookings for this year postpone to next year which has meant admin has been rather busy and with all the new inquiries for 2021 also. I think many wedding couples are worrying that wedding suppliers may get booked up for 2021 quicker then usual because of the postponed weddings from this year and it is the case for many suppliers and myself as i am booked up nearly every weekend from February to October. I take 1-2 weddings a day depending on the size of the orders as there is only so much me and my team can do and i like to give my all into every booking i receive to give the best quality.
For all my wedding bookings who need to postpone due to covid, i am offering to simply move your current booking to your new wedding date and the monies you've already paid will secure the new date. Of course depending how far away your new wedding date is there will be price increments because prices go up in price as time goes on.
If you're looking for a quote for your wedding flowers please get in touch! All recent and new bookings will be given estimated prices for flower designs which to anyone new wedding couples you can secure your booking by paying 30% of the estimated total. Then, when it comes to 3 months before your wedding i will look at the prices to see if i my predictions are correct and they could be, the prices could also go up due to covid other environmental reasons with the flower growers., which at the time i would give you the new prices or if you want to stay within a certain budget in mind we can tweak the flowers to stay within your desired budget.
I really hope it would be too long before we can back to a certain way of normal!
Any questions or queries please don#t hesitate to get in touch!!
